How my Urban Tantra Certification inspires my work

I had the great fortune of being in the first ever professional Urban Tantra Certification training. I had been dabbling in Tantra/Neo-Tantra & sharing what I was learning with my bodywork clients. They were having incredible experiences, saying post-session "What was that?! I've never experienced anything like that in my life - it was extraordinary!" But, I am a hard-core academic gal who wants her woo to be grounded, down-to-earth and practical. I read Barbara Carrellas's Urban Tantra book & said "OMG, this is the person I want a Tantra certification from-it would be amazing if she offered it" - And eureka - soon after she did ! (by a glorious miracle my incredible assistant at the time recommended to Barbara the book be made into a certification!)

I fell deeply in love with Bondassage/Elysium & my signature Secret Massage as the perfect combinations of everything I valued in this calling and found the most satisfaction in practicing with clients.

My in-depth training in neo- tantric infused these sessions with a deep,unique quality. I bring understanding of a few delicious points :

• Heightening the senses: In Bondassage/Elysium by putting restrictions or playing with novelty & the unexpected with dominant senses like sight and sound it allows other senses - like the pleasure of being touched - to dial up to 11.

  
  

• Enjoying the moment: In all of my offerings, it's enjoyment of the moment that is the focus of the session. I love my work and I very much look forward to the sessions & that is an energy I bring into the moment. I am exactly where I want to be, doing exactly what I want to be doing. There is always a bliss, out of this stratosphere direction & I savor & enthusiastically play in every moment of the session. That authentic embodiment of owning the pleasure of the moment & taking ownership of doing things that I love bring that satisfaction & pleasure that transmutes to you is a Tantric practice.

  If I talk with a possible client who has a joyless, heavy, serious, compulsive energy around what they're seeking, I decline booking because that's not a Tantric perspective to my work. I joke I'm a cute Disney Princess who is head over heels in love with kinky play & the huge range of ways we get to play with erotic joy.
